the Pyramids

90% of Egypt is the desert. I & Take came to Giza by taxi and it took 30 minutes from SAKURA, cost just 20 Egyptian LB (it's less than 400 yen). We got three horses and one guide "Sammy" there. It was the first time that I rode a horse. Ok, let me practice in running. We got on them and rode around the sands for a while. "It works!" At that time, we were stunned by the sight. "Awesome...the Pyramids." How would I feel if I find them all of a sudden while I walk across desert? What would I consider them as if I have no knowledge about them? Do I think of them as only landmarks? Even today, there seems to be no accepted notion about what the Pyramid is. Altogether, they are considered as Pharaohs' tombs, but the bodies are never discovered in the Pyramids which there're more than 60 in Egypt. Some people say they're solar clocks because the sides of Pyramids face the correct directions. Others say, "No, they're astronomical observatories." and others say "No, no. they show a formula, I mean, circle ratio... = (the total length of the bottom's all sides) / (2 height)." And the others say they're to get the power. Anyway, they're, starting from the right, the Pyramid of Pharaoh Khufu, his son Khafra and his son Menkoura which is out of alignment like that of OrIon. Small one is the one of Queen. It is said that Khufu's one having about 140 meters height had been constructed for 20 years and, to be surprised, it takes same years if we make it by modern technology, additionally, the precision that required to make right directions might be much superior to modern engineering. It goes without saying that Pyramids are the ingredients of Egypt.
